Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; general knowledge of banquet operations is a plus.
• Experience with event setup, linens, and tableware is advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Comfortable balancing event support with daily housekeeping tasks.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Set up and break down banquet spaces per function diagrams.
• Break down functions and store equipment properly.
• Assist with linens, skirting, and AV equipment handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, locker rooms, and public areas.
• Stock restrooms and support areas; perform general cleaning.

The Event & Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, and breaking down event spaces while helping maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all Club facilities. This hands-on position includes arranging tables, chairs, linens, and AV equipment for weddings, member functions, and other special events, as well as performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the property. Responsibilities also include maintaining restrooms, locker rooms, fitness areas, and other member and staff spaces to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing event support with daily housekeeping responsibilities. We are looking for full-time H2B Event & Housekeeping Attendants with our petition dates going from April 15th, 2027 to October 31st, 2027.

Job Duties:

• Greeting and making all members and guests feel welcomed
• Ensure the correct and timely set-up of all Banquet Event Order functions according to table diagrams
• Breaks down after the completion of functions and ensures that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Reviews and executes table diagrams, guest tables and set-up needs for special functions.
• Assist with table linens, skirting and table top items and clean, store and secure all tables, chairs and AV equipment, and platforms/stages for banquet functions.
• Maintain AV equipment and ensure that it is in good working order and stored properly without damage.
• Notifies management of any hazards.
• Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas to include the carpet, walls, walks, doors, windows and heating/air conditioning units.
• Maintains the banquet storeroom in a neat and organized manner stocked with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for meetings or food service functions.
• Cleans banquet room areas including vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, dusting, cleaning chair cushions, and other duties as needed.
• Collects and disposes of trash from dining area following the conclusion of the function.
• Monitoring and refreshing locker rooms and restrooms as needed, including cleaning toilets, sinks and showers throughout day
• Collecting and disposing of trash/recycling in all member and staff areas
• Washing, folding and putting away Club towels and cleaning rags, using laundry machines
• Cleaning light fixtures, ceiling vents and other high-level areas on a consistent schedule
• Stocking all restrooms, locker rooms and other designated areas.
• Executing deep cleaning projects, such as carpet cleaning, according to schedule
• Performing general cleaning duties in all areas of the club property, including:
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, showers, gym equipment, door handles, etc.
• Vacuuming all carpeted areas
• Sweeping & mopping floors in staff and member areas
• Dusting all furniture, fixtures and windowsills
• Wiping mirrors and windows, both inside and outside, as needed
• Cleaning doors, walls, and baseboards
• Cleaning and polishing wood surfaces, brass door handles and stainless steel
• Checking/removing towels from all hampers and dirty towel bins, such as locker rooms, fitness facilities and pool/beach areas
• Perform other duties assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred
• General knowledge of banquet operations preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize work activities
• Strong interpersonal skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
