Job summary

Job Description Summary
Roles And Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and stage various jobs and fixtures to ensure smooth workflow and production readiness. This includes organizing fixtures and materials at designated workstations, verifying their accuracy against job requirements, and ensuring timely availability to support production schedules.
  • Perform mechanical cleaning and buffing of products to remove surface defects, discoloration, and other imperfections using a variety of tools and techniques. Ensure the product meets visual and dimensional quality standards by carefully inspecting the surface during and after the cleaning process. Conduct pressure testing of products to verify compliance with established quality and performance standards, ensuring reliability and safety in their intended application.
  • Monitor and replenish consumable material stations, such as cutting tools, lubricants, fasteners, and other supplies critical to manufacturing operations. Ensure inventory levels are maintained to prevent disruptions, and collaborate with procurement teams to address shortages or restocking needs.
  • Manage central fixture storage systems by organizing, tracking, and maintaining fixtures to ensure accessibility and proper condition. Implement inventory control practices, such as labeling, cataloging, and periodic audits, to optimize storage efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks across Production Control, Quality, Lean, and Engineering functions.
  • Clean and organize the work area to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. Adhere to 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to promote workplace organization and continuous improvement.
  • Perform related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, and production‑flow job duties to support plant machinery, equipment, and manufacturing‑related initiatives and programs
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all operations.
  • Attend shift crossover and other business required meetings when applicable.
  • Participate in training duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED and
  • Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing or operational environment.
