Job summary

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Grow Your Own Hub, aligning programs that recruit, develop, and retain paraeducators pursuing teacher certification.

The role involves advising, mentorship, and technical services across PSESD, colleges, and districts, plus coordinating recruitment, onboarding, information sessions, applications, and interview processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a related field or demonstrated alternative with related experience.
• Experience coordinating programs, services, events, trainings, or workshops.
• Experience supporting applicants or participants with program applications or financial assistance.
• Experience providing customer, participant, or community-facing support in a program environment.
• Experience maintaining program records, data, and documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Experience providing information, technical assistance, or support to participants and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strong communication, problem solving, and recordkeeping skills.
• Experience coordinating wraparound services or connecting participants with community resources.
• Experience working with populations served by this program.
• Experience in public-sector, nonprofit, education, or community-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to share expertise and resources, resolve issues, and maintain services.
• Coordinates with external partners to develop programs and sustain services.
• Plans and coordinates on-site and off-site events, trainings, and workshops to meet outcomes.
• Maintains a variety of documents and records for compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversights may include guiding other staff to meet program objectives within budget.
• Monitors program components for compliance with financial, legal, and administrative requirements.
• Participates in meetings, trainings, and committees to collect and share information.
• Prepares written materials documenting activities and outcomes.
• Delivers training or technical assistance to support action plans and strategy adoption.
• Responds to inquiries and directs issues to appropriate personnel.
