Job summary

medleadcareers is seeking an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist to deliver comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care, including preventive services, evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain EMR documentation, and participate in quality assurance, HIPAA compliance, and patient education to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Active New York State Medical License Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA registration
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Experience with EMR systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine gynecological examinations and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
• Perform Pap smears, pelvic exams, breast exams, biopsies, and minor in-office procedures
• Provide contraception counseling and family planning services
• Manage menopausal care, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and reproductive health concerns
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and overall wellness
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical guidelines
