Job summary

AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking a Gynecologic surgeon to perform gynecologic surgeries with no obstetrical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of gynecologic surgery experience, expertise in MIS, and a strong patient-centered approach.

The role involves diagnosing and treating a broad range of gynecologic conditions, performing open and minimally invasive procedures, and participating in education and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• MD or foreign medical degree and residency in gynecologic surgery.
• Completion of four year post graduate medical training with MIS focus.
• Board eligible/board certified in obstetrics & gynecology; FACOG.
• Robotic certification strongly preferred.
• Active NY license and DEA registration.
• Enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid.
• BLS/ACLS certs preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Experience with EMR systems like EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient information and maintain complete medical records.
• Review patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and provide preventive care.
• Provide relationship-centered care addressing psychosocial and physical needs.
• Perform hysterectomies and myomectomies (open and minimally invasive).
• Conduct diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
• Perform diagnostic cystoscopy and endometrial ablation.
• In-office procedures (LEEP, colposcopy, hysteroscopy/biopsy, pessary care).
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care and participate in education.
