Job summary

AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking a Gynecologic surgeon to perform Gynecologic surgeries at multiple New York offices. There will be no obstetrical responsibilities, with focus on outpatient care using minimally invasive techniques.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of gynecologic surgery experience, strong diagnostic and surgical skills, and a patient-centered approach. Opportunities include open and laparoscopic procedures, with robotic certification preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent
• Four-year post-graduate medical training with minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Fellow American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG)
• Robotic certification strongly preferred
• Active NYS medical license and DEA registration or eligibility
• Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomies and myomectomies for benign conditions, open and minimally invasive.
• Perform diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
• Perform in-office procedures (LEEP, colposcopy, hysteroscopy/endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, pessary care).
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with the care team to ensure quality care.
• Participate in medical staff education and meetings.
