Responsibilities

• Perform gynecologic and obstetric diagnostic ultrasound examinations and other procedures to diagnose medical conditions and provide treatment.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Accurately record all patient information in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care; report abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s Degree Preferred; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• ARDMS Certified / SPI / OBGYN Registered desired.
• 2+ years experience in OBGYN sonography.
