Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks a dynamic physician leader to serve as Section Chief of Gynecologic Oncology. This full-time clinical-track faculty role is at Associate Professor or Professor level, tied to experience and qualifications.

The Section Chief will lead a comprehensive program spanning clinical care, research, and education, overseeing operations, growth, and faculty development within a multidisciplinary team. Strong leadership and teaching commitments are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology (ACGME-accredited).
• Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology; eligible for unrestricted medical license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and grow the gynecologic oncology program.
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, and resident education.
• Advance research initiatives and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical oncology, pathology and radiology partners.
• Participate in tumor board and multidisciplinary patient care.
