Job summary

UPMC is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to support gynecologic oncology at Magee Womens Hospital and Passavant Hospital. The role focuses on outpatient management of patients on chemotherapy, pre/post operative care, and surveillance, with inbox management and independent clinic duties alongside an MD.

The successful candidate will join a team of 10 Advanced Practice Providers, participate in a robust Transition to Practice Program, and benefit from comprehensive health and retirement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state PA license/certified by NCCPA is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Act 34 Clearances required

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care to patients on chemotherapy, pre/post operative patients, and surveillance patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage patient inbox and participate in an independent clinic parallel to an MD.
• Cross-cover APP peers based on department needs.
