RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse for Rutgers University Medical Group in New Jersey, focusing on gynecologic oncology. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess patients, manage treatment plans, and support families throughout the care pathway.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Women’s Health or related) and active NJ licensure, with 1–2 years of gynecologic oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Women’s Health or relevant specialty).
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in gynecologic oncology preferred; background in surgical care or chemotherapy administration is a plus.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey nurse practitioner license (or in process).

Responsabilités

• Patient Care: Perform thorough health history assessments, physical exams, and coordinate triage and management for patients through all stages of the disease process.
• Treatment & Procedures: Manage diagnostic and treatment plans, prescribe chemotherapy when appropriate, and potentially assist in the operating room.
• Collaboration: Work within an interdisciplinary team alongside supervising physicians while following hospital policies and state regulations.
• Support & Education: Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment expectations, and discharge instructions while offering compassionate psychosocial support.
