Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine in Brooklyn invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner in GYN Oncology. The role provides provision, coordination, and assurance of comprehensive nursing care within a collaborative practice.

You will diagnose, treat, and prescribe under NY state law within a physician-led team. Qualified candidates hold NYS RN and NP licenses, a Master’s in Nursing, NP certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred; five years of nursing experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• ANCC or equivalent NP certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize care per protocols and pathways.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians on patient care plans.
• Participate in research protocols when applicable.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per NYS law under physician supervision.
• Ensure quality and outcomes through standardized practice.
• Educate peers and staff; promote best practices.
