Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Gynecologic Oncology section seeks a compassionate Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for female gynecologic oncology patients at a major center in Cleveland, Ohio. This full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts per week with responsibilities across clinical care, education, and care coordination.

Newly licensed providers with oncology experience are welcome to apply, and licensure and credentialing

Qualifications

• APR N/PA credentialing required.
• Licensed RN in applicable state.
• National certification as APRN/PA.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS or PALS may be required based on setting.
• Physician supervision arrangement required.
• Credentialed and privileged by hospital committees.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging tests as needed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications subject to licensure.
• Educate patients about disease, treatments and side effects.
• Participate in rounds and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Facilitate discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research efforts.
