Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Florida is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with OR training/experience for obstetrics and gynecology. The role includes supporting GYN operating room procedures, rounds on post-operative OB/GYN patients, and assisting with cesarean deliveries, along with clinic duties in a fast-paced academic medical setting.

The ideal candidate is nationally certified, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and participates in continuous education and quality

Qualifications

• APRN: MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher from a program recognized by licensing board.
• English: oral and written communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support GYN operating room procedures and assist with cesarean deliveries.
• Conduct rounds on post-operative OB/GYN patients with the healthcare team.
• Provide clinic responsibilities and ambulatory care as part of the APP role.
• Educate patients about disease, treatments, side effects, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to assure quality patient care.
