Job summary

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a full-time ABP board certified/eligible pathologist with an interest in gynecologic and breast pathology. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly productivity, an MD or equivalent degree, Minnesota medical licensure eligibility, board certification/eligibility in AP or

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• Board certified or board eligible in AP or AP/CP.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency in pathology.
• Gynecologic and breast fellowship training.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out pathology for gynecologic and breast specimens.
• Provide intraoperative consultations and supervise residents and fellows.
• Participate in conferences and scholarly activities.
• Pursue leadership opportunities in education or digital pathology.
