Job summary

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a fulltime ABP board certified/eligible pathologist with an interest in gynecologic and breast pathology. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure, board certified or board eligible in AP or AP/CP, completion of an ACGME-accredited pathology

Qualifications

• ABP board certified or eligible pathologist
• Interest in gynecologic and breast pathology
• Demonstrated teaching ability and scholarly productivity
• MD or equivalent degree and eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in AP or AP/CP; completed pathology residency; gynecologic/breast fellowship

Responsibilities

• Sign-out responsibilities with surgical pathology team
• Intraoperative consultations
• Autopsy service
• Resident and fellow supervision
• Conferences and educational activities; potential leadership in education/digital pathology
