Job summary

Tumble Shine Athletics is seeking a part-time instructor/coach to engage with students and families in our program. Training is provided; gymnastics background preferred but not required for all positions.

Evening and weekend availability is required, with potential travel for competitions depending on the role. The successful candidate will help supervise safety, develop relationships with students and parents, and ensure classes run on schedule while following the curriculum and program

Qualifications

• Background check and reference check are required.
• Positive coaching philosophy and high energy are essential.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Physical ability to lift approximately 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes according to the schedule provided by your Supervisor or Manager.
• Teach classes using the curriculum provided by Tumble Shine.
• Ensure all classes are properly covered in the event of your absence.
• Keep First Aid and CPR certifications current and participate in trainings.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of activity areas; communicate with parents.

We are looking for upbeat, motivated and organized individuals that have a passion for working with children.

A Gymnastics background is preferred but not required for all positions. Training will be provided. Evenings and weekends are required. Travel may be required for competitions depending on the position.

General

• Help ensure the safety and maintenance of activity areas to be utilized by program
• Develop positive relationships with students and parents
• Keep classes on task and moving
• Assist with decoration of space as needed
• Ensure classes begin and end on time
• Understand and follow [Program Name] class curriculums
• Ensure the distribution of information to participants as needed
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Notify the class supervisor of any injuries and ensure proper documentation of injury reports
• Keep First Aid and CPR certifications current
• Continue to participate in trainings to enrich your instruction of our participants
• Expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner--including, but not limited to, personal hygiene, work attire and personal social media
• Be familiar with company policy and follow it accordingly

Marketing

• Marketing Help promote any in-house events

Instruction/Training
