Job summary

The YMCA in Middleboro, MA is seeking part-time gymnastics instructors to teach classes guided by the YMCA Sport Philosophy. You will supervise 8-9 students, demonstrate basic gymnastics skills, and ensure a fun, safe learning environment for participants.

• Gymnastics coaching experience.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have current CPR/AED certification within 60 days of employment.

• Ability to supervise 8-9 students with control, enthusiasm and proper safety precautions.
• Ability to demonstrate basic gymnastics skills (forward roll, backward roll, running and jumping.)
• Make sure all participants have a fun, enjoyable time.
• Plan and lead classes/programs as scheduled.
• Compile program records including attendance, questionnaires, evaluations, accident/incident reports, and incentive plans.
• Attend all staff meetings.
