Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledgeable with the USAG skill progressions.
• Gymnastics coaching experience.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have current CPR/AED certification within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on the YMCA’s Sport Philosophy.
• Incorporate the YMCA mission into programs.
• Supervise 8-9 students with safety and enthusiasm.
• Demonstrate basic gymnastics skills (forward roll, backward roll, running, jumping).
• Plan and lead classes as scheduled.
• Compile attendance, questionnaires, evaluations, and incident reports; maintain records.
• Attend all staff meetings.
