Job summary

GForce Gymnastics & Parkour in Shakopee, MN is seeking an energetic and reliable coach to join our team. You will teach gymnastics and parkour to children while following GForce lesson plans, creating a safe and fun learning environment.

You will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean gym, greet families, and promote our camps, events, and afterschool care. This part-time role offers flexible hours and potential for growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with coaching children in gymnastics or parkour is preferred.
• USAG and CPR/First Aid certifications required before employment and kept up to date.

Responsibilities

GForce Gymnastics & Parkour Shakopeeis looking for an energetic, positive, and reliable gymnastics and parkour coach to join our team!

What You'll Do

As a GForce Coach, you'll help kids build skills, confidence, strength, and a love for fitness—all while creating a safe and fun environment.

You will:

• Coach gymnastics and/or parkour for ages walking & up while following GForce lesson plans
• Create a positive and encouraging experience for every child
• Follow safety procedures, policies, and emergency plans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym
• Greet and communicate positively with students, parents, and teammates
• Promote and support other GForce programs such as camps, events, birthday parties and afterschool care
• Be ready to jump in and help wherever the gym needs you
• Have Fun

Availability Requirements

Preferred availability:

• Weekday mornings/afternoons/evenings: Shifts vary between 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed for special events

This is a flexible, part-time position. Schedules may vary based on the needs of the gym, availability, and coaching performance.

Compensation:

Hourly rate based on experience

Qualifications

• Experience with gymnastics, parkour, dance, cheer, or other coaching, childcare or teaching is preferred, but not required.
• USAG, CPR/First Aid Certification are required prior to employment and must remain up to date throughout employment.
