Qualifications

• Previous gymnastics coaching experience is required.
• Experience with USA Gymnastics standards and safety practices is required.
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Sales or enrollment growth experience is a plus.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for USAG skill levels 1-3.
• Teach tumbling, balance beam, vault, and bars.
• Guide enrollment processes and provide excellent customer experience.
• Ensure safety by warm-ups and safety protocols.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and supervise practice sessions, competitions, and events.
• Maintain a safe training environment by inspecting equipment and facilities.
• Communicate progress and updates to students, parents, and staff.
• Foster a positive team spirit among students.

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Gymnastics Coach/Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience and strong communication skills to help drive new student enrollment. This role involves teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment for all participants. You will also be outgoing and personable interacting with parents and helping to manage the gym operations The Gymnastics Coach - Manager will play a crucial role in developing athletes' abilities while ensuring their safety and well-being during training sessions. A good fit in this role will see a fast increase in pay.

Duties

• Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for USAG skill levels 1-3.
• Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, including tumbling, balance beam, vault, and bars.
• Walk parents through the enrollment process and provide great a great customer experience. Sales background also a plus as new enrollment growth is a key function of this role.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by implementing proper warm-up routines and safety protocols.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Organize and supervise practice sessions, competitions, and special events.
• Maintain a clean and safe training environment by regularly inspecting equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress, concerns, and program updates.
• Foster a positive team spirit among students through encouragement and support.

Qualifications

• Previous gymnastics coaching experience is required.
• Experience working with XCEL gymnastics is preferred.
• Knowledge of USA Gymnastics standards and safety practices is required.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable .
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining a fun learning atmosphere.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
