Retro Fitness in Long Island, NY (Deer Park area) is seeking a Professional Cleaner to keep the club clean, safe, and welcoming for members. This hands-on role requires independence, attention to detail, and physical stamina to maintain the facility throughout your shift.

You’ll clean locker rooms and restrooms, sanitize high-traffic areas, restock supplies, and help address safety issues. The position offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and benefits including health

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail in a cleaning environment

Responsibilities

• Keep the gym clean, organized, and member-ready at all times
• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, and high-traffic areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring areas
• Wipe down equipment and high-touch surfaces during peak hours
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness standards across the club
• Restock paper towels, soap, and cleaning supplies
• Complete daily cleaning checklists with consistency
• Handle light maintenance or touch-ups
• Identify and address cleanliness or safety issues immediately
