Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC is seeking an IT infrastructure professional to support and administer Windows-based laboratory workstations and related systems in a GMP environment. You will manage lifecycle activities, validation, and change control for regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience with GxP systems, security controls, and collaboration with validation teams and vendors to ensure continuous operations and data integrity in analytical and manufacturing labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or systems administration experience.
• 3+ years supporting regulated GxP systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences organizations.
• Experience supporting laboratory instrumentation and computerized systems validation.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments subject to FDA and international regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based laboratory workstations and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain operating systems, instrument software, middleware, and supporting applications.
• Manage lifecycle activities including provisioning, imaging, deployment, upgrades, migrations, validation support, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate upgrades, migrations, software releases, and system enhancements with laboratory personnel, validation teams, and vendors.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and change control processes.
• Develop and implement security controls, access management, and incident response for laboratory systems.
• Provide backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity support for regulated environments.
