Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Norwood, MA seeks an IT/OT support specialist to bridge IT and Operational Technology across manufacturing sites. The role delivers compliant, robust systems performance and end-user support while coordinating with automation, QA, QC, and plant engineering teams.

You will provide Tier 1 helpdesk support for shop-floor IT, assist with change controls, audit trails, and incident management in a validated GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, industrial engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of IT system support experience in manufacturing or labs, preferably BioPharma in GxP environments.
• Experience with virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 IT support for manufacturing operations, troubleshooting shop floor issues across HMIs, scanners, label printers and Thin Clients.
• Support change controls and incident management in a validated GMP/GxP environment, maintaining audit trails and system states.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Automation, Plant and Lab Engineering, and Digital Core teams to coordinate downtime and restorations.
• Maintain CMDB, inventories, configuration baselines, and network documentation; document repairs, imaging, data wiping, and asset tracking.
• Participate in after-hours or weekend support based on manufacturing needs.
