Job summary

S&K Gaming LLC is seeking a Barista to greet guests, prepare coffee and specialty beverages, and ensure excellent service in a fast-paced environment. You will operate POS systems, handle cash, monitor inventory, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of barista experience, with preferred cash handling and POS experience and strong customer service skills. This is a full-time, on-site role in Missoula, MT.

SUMMARY:The Barista greets guests in a friendly manner and maintains cleanliness and order in customer areas. The barista must always maintain a pleasant and courteous demeanor. The Barista prepares and serves coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks while providing exceptional customer service. The Barista supports the daily operations of the coffee service area, maintains food and beverage quality standards, inventory levels, legendary customer service, and ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements. The Barista must be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures, promotions, specials, etc., and be able to interpret information to the public. The Barista must also be knowledgeable of internal policies and procedures regarding cash handling, payouts, and overall staff requirements and strictly follow these daily.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Greets and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.Exceptional customer service includes a friendly, helpful, and responsive demeanor.Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to established standards.Operate POS systems and process customer transactions.Assist the Bar Supervisor with inventory counts and supply monitoring.Maintain guest contact and anticipate guest needs.Maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment, service, areas, and seating areas.Follows alcohol awareness procedures for identifying and handling intoxicated guests.Demonstrate a high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with daily operations and personnel issues.Be knowledgeable and able to follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the official Cash Handling Manual, EHB, and official Policies and Procedures established by S & K Gaming LLCAdheres to company sanitation procedures and personal hygiene policies.Communicates continually during shift with food and beverage, and casino team to ensure smooth operations.Keeps immediate supervisor, manager, MOD promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary.Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established policies.Support opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.Keeps a neat and clean work area.Stock and replenish supplies, cups, ingredients and merchandise per established standards.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.Maintain the highest quality and production of the operation and always provide a favorable image.Maintain a teamwork effort.Gives a warm and pleasant farewell to guests and invites them to return.Periodic deep cleaning projects.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.Minimum of six (6) months prior barista experience is requiredPrevious cash handling and POS experience preferredPrevious customer service experience required
