Job summary

QXO, North America’s leading insulation and building materials distributor, is hiring a warehouse associate in Boise, ID. You will operate a forklift or pallet jack, perform cycle counts, and ensure loads are secured for safe transport.

The role requires basic math, use of handheld scanners, and prior warehouse experience. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position with local travel rarely required and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a warehouse setting is required.
• Ability to use handheld scanning devices.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Job Description

Current Position – $20-$25 per hour

Your Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
