ILS Gummies LLC is seeking a Depositing Catcher for the 2nd shift in our gummy manufacturing line. The role focuses on ensuring proper gummy flow, coating consistency, and meticulous documentation in production.

Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors and coating equipment, verifying tray readiness, and reporting quality issues to leads. Compliance with BMR procedures and accurate batch transfer are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conveyors and sanding drum are clean and functioning properly.
• Verify gummy trays are clean, dry, and paired with correct floor dolly.
• Spread gummies evenly to prevent clumping.
• Control gummies' flow from conveyors to drums or trays per the BMR.
• Prevent gummies from passing through the brush to avoid yield loss.
• Operate sanding drum to apply even coating.
• Maintain gummy flow into the coating drum via elevated conveyor.
• Apply sugar/starch at proper intervals to avoid under- or over-coating.
• Notify hopper operator if excess oil is affecting coating quality.
• Clean sanding drum between batches using reverse function and compressed air.
• Wipe down conveyors between batches to remove oil buildup.
• Report gummies issues like softness, discoloration, or mis-shapes.
• Complete the Sanding section of the BMR; second catcher verifies.
• Transfer completed batches to drying tunnels with the BMR folder.
• Complete the Positional Task Checklist during A-Cleans and B-Cleans.
