Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a Captain to command a Gulfstream G650ER based in Addison, Texas. You will ensure safe, legal, and efficient execution of domestic and international missions, operating on an on-call basis and maintaining currency through annual ICAO procedures training.

You will review maintenance status, conduct pre-flight inspections, analyze weather and NOTAMs, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Solairus Aviation policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum flight experience: 3,000 hours total time
• PIC: 1,500 hours
• MEL: 1,500 hours including 500 MEL PIC
• Turbojet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours
• Current Gulfstream G650ER type rating or comparable aircraft

Role overview

As the Captain, you will command a G650ER based in Addison, TX, ensuring the safe, lawful, and efficient execution of domestic and international missions. You will operate on an on-call basis and maintain currency through annual ICAO International procedures training.

What you'll do

• Exercise pilot-in-command authority for all assigned flights, prioritizing safety and compliance.
• Review and verify the aircraft's maintenance status before each mission.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates for the planned route and destination(s).
• Ensure every flight adheres to Solairus Aviation policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout all phases of operation.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and logs per current procedures.

What you bring

• Minimum flight experience: 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine land (including 500 hours MEL PIC); 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
• Current type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.
• Current First Class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis and complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of Addison (KADS) or willingness to relocate.
