Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a dedicated Director of Maintenance for the Gulfstream G600 at KSJC. The role directs maintenance programs, inspections, analytics, and coordination with the aircraft management team to ensure dispatch reliability and safety across all activities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in maintenance as an FAA A&P, plus 3+ years of leadership, with willingness to travel and work extended hours as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience as an FAA-certificated A&P technician.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing employees, contractors, or maintenance teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel to support maintenance events.
• Must pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee maintenance programs, inspections, and analytics for the Gulfstream G600.
• Coordinate light, moderate, and heavy maintenance to optimize dispatch reliability.
• Maintain FARs compliance and company policies for Parts 91/135.
• Manage vendor-supplier relationships, contracts, and support services.
• Provide 24-month projections, budget, and regular maintenance updates to leadership.
