Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream G600 Captain to join our operation at KOPF. The successful candidate will safely operate the G600 and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Solairus’ safety-first culture.

Requirements include 3,000 total hours, 1,500 PIC, 1,500 MEL hours, 500 MEL PIC hours, 500 Turbo Jet hours, 250 Instrument hours, a Gulfstream G600 type rating, and a First Class medical. On-call availability and annual ICAO procedures training are required.

Qualifications

• Total time: 3000 hours
• PIC time: 1500 hours
• MEL time: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument time: 250 hours
• G600 type rating or equivalent
• First class medical required
• On-call availability
• ICAO procedures training annually
• Residence within 2 hours of KOPF or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Gulfstream G600 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner per regulations and Solairus policies.
• Review maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Perform a proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather, route, and alternate airports.
• Ensure compliance with Solairus policies and applicable FAA regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately.
