Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G500 Captain to join our operations at KMCO or KDJT. You will be responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G500 and ensuring flights meet internal policies and all applicable regulations.

Qualifications include 3000 total hours, 1500 PIC, 1500 MEL hours, and type-rating on G500 or equivalent, with first-class medical and an on-call work requirement. Residence within a 2-hour drive or relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• PIC: 1500 hours
• MEL: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours
• Type rated on Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft
• First class medical required
• On-call availability required
• Annual ICAO procedures training
• Residence within 2 hours drive of KMCO or KDJT or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner
• Review aircraft maintenance status
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual
• Check weather and routing including alternates
• Ensure compliance with Solairus Aviation procedures and FAA regulations
• Ensure safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
• Accurate completion of trip paperwork
