Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain to operate from the Reno (RNO) area. The candidate should be a standout team member committed to safety, service, and integrity while meeting clients’ travel needs under Solairus’ culture.

Essential duties include safe operation of the Gulfstream G550, pre-flight inspections, route planning, weather review, and compliance with FAA regulations. Residence within a two-hour drive or relocation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3000 hours with PIC time of 1500 hours.
• Multiengine turbine experience: MEL 1500 hours and MEL PIC 500 hours.
• Turbojet experience: 500 hours; Instrument rating: 250 hours.

Responsabilités

• Safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner per applicable regulations.
• Review aircraft maintenance status prior to flight.
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection as per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather, route, and alternate airports for flight planning.
• Ensure flight adheres to Solairus policies and FAA regulations.
• Ensure safety of passengers, aircraft and crew; complete trip paperwork accurately.
