Job summary

Solairus Aviation, Inc. seeks a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain to lead flights and uphold safety, service, and integrity in servicing our clients from the New York area.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive flight hours, Type rating on G550 (or comparable), and a First Class medical, with eligibility for ICAO procedures training annually. Residency within a 2-hour drive from NY airports is preferred.

Qualifications

• Total time = 3000 hours.
• PIC = 1500 hours.
• MEL = 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC = 500 hours.
• Time in Turbo Jet = 500 hours.
• Instrument = 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently according to regulations and Solairus policies.
• Review aircraft maintenance status prior to flight.
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Complete weather and routing checks including alternates.
• Ensure safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew; complete trip paperwork.
