Job summary

Solairus is seeking a Captain for the Gulfstream G500 to lead missions with professionalism and prudence from preflight to postflight. You will operate under Solairus procedures and applicable FARs, safeguarding passengers, crew, and aircraft on every leg.

The role requires a current Gulfstream G500 type rating, a valid FAA First-Class Medical, and willingness to relocate or reside within two hours of KOPF for on-call operations.

Qualifications

• Current type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
• Availability for on‑call operations as needed.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Gulfstream G500 in accordance with Solairus SOPs and all applicable regulations.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and perform preflight inspections per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan each flight by analyzing weather, performance, NOTAMs, and route considerations.
• Exercise sound judgment and CRM, prioritizing safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
• Complete trip documentation and reports accurately and on time under current company procedures.
• Maintain currency, including annual ICAO international procedures training.
