Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a polished Gulfstream G500 pilot to serve as Pilot-in-Command, delivering safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations from Camarillo (KCMA).

You will review maintenance, conduct pre-flight inspections, analyze weather and NOTAMs, and ensure compliance with FARs while upholding Solairus' safety culture. On-call availability and international travel may be required; relocation near KCMA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3,000 hours total time required.
• 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command required.
• 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) required.
• 500 hours MEL PIC required.
• 500 hours turbojet time required.
• 250 hours instrument time required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the Gulfstream G500, ensuring safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each mission.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates for all planned routes and destinations.
• Ensure strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable FARs.
• Lead a culture of safety and professionalism, safeguarding passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Complete accurate and timely trip documentation and post-flight paperwork.
