Job summary

Pilot Assessments in Colorado seeks a Second-in-Command to support the Pilot in Command with safe, efficient flight operations, uphold SOPs, and deliver an exceptional client experience from preflight to postflight.

You’ll meet CPL/IR, 1,500 hours, Part 135 eligibility, and prefer G280 experience; duties include preflight planning, inspections, in-flight monitoring, and postflight documentation, with a competitive package and relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• FAA CPL/IR with instrument rating
• Current Second-Class Medical Certificate (First-Class preferred)
• Minimum 1,500 hours total time and 500 hours multi-engine (Part 135 SIC eligibility)
• Solid understanding of ADM, CRM, and FAA regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Residence in Colorado or willingness to relocate
• Clear background check and successful completion of company training
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in the DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program per 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40
• Preferred: Part 135 experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a G280 type rating

Responsibilities

• Participate in preflight planning and review weather, NOTAMs, aircraft performance, and routing
• Conduct preflight inspections and confirm aircraft readiness
• Monitor aircraft systems and performance in flight with strong situational awareness
• Assist with navigation and radio communications; communicate with the PIC
• Adhere to SOPs, checklists, and safety protocols
• Ensure regulatory compliance under FAA Part 135 and company procedures
• Complete postflight documentation, debriefs, and recordkeeping
• Maintain licenses, medicals, and currency per FAA/ICAO requirements
• Participate in training, check rides, and evaluations
• Champion safety, teamwork, and premium customer service
