Job summary

Pacific Seafood seeks a Captain (PIC) to lead the corporate flight department. You will hold final authority for safe, efficient operations of each Gulfstream G280 flight, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies while delivering exceptional passenger service.

You will perform thorough preflight planning, conduct preflight and postflight inspections, and coordinate with maintenance and flight crews. A strong safety mindset and international experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Unrestricted FAA ATP with AMEL.
• Medical: Current second-class FAA medical.
• English: ICAO Operational Level 4 or higher.
• Passport: Valid United States passport; able to travel internationally.

About the role

As Captain (PIC) in Pacific Seafood's corporate flight department, you hold final authority for the safe, efficient operation of every flight. You'll operate the Gulfstream G280 in accordance with company policies, procedures and the Federal Aviation Regulations, deliver an exceptional passenger experience, maintain recurrent proficiency, and contribute to non-flying duties that keep the department running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Lead each mission as PIC with ultimate responsibility for safety, compliance and decision-making.
• Execute comprehensive preflight planning: weather, performance, weight and balance, NOTAMs, and flight plans; manage customs/immigration for international trips.
• Perform preflight inspections, deliver safety briefings, fly the aircraft to the highest professional standards, complete post-flight inspections, and communicate maintenance items to the Chief Pilot.
• Provide polished, hospitality-forward service: greet passengers, assist with luggage and special needs, and brief on safety equipment and cabin amenities.
• Stay current through training on federal regulations, aircraft systems, normal/emergency procedures, surface contamination and cold weather ops, high altitude operations, CRM, and international procedures.
• Support non-flying tasks: arrange crew and passenger travel, oversee aircraft servicing and cleaning, update avionics/databases, and stock the aircraft including medical and emergency kits.
• Maintain a current ATP and at least a second-class FAA medical; uphold the company drug and alcohol policy (no alcohol within eight hours of flying) and exemplary safety practices.

What you’ll bring

• License: Unrestricted FAA ATP with AMEL.
• Medical: Current second-class FAA medical (or better).
• English: ICAO Operational Level 4 or higher.
• Passport: Valid United States passport; able to travel internationally.
• Flight time minimums:
• 3,500 hours total time.
• 1,000 hours multi-engine.
• 1,000 hours turbine (turboprop/turbofan/turbojet).
• 500 hours PIC in turbofan and/or turbojet (recent).
• 250 hours PIC in make and model (Gulfstream G280) or equivalent mid-cabin jet (recent).
• 500 hours jet time minimum.
• Type rating: PIC type rating in the Gulfstream 280, or significant mid-cabin jet PIC experience.
• Physical: Meets all FAA physical requirements; able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred

• Alaska operating experience.
• International flying experience.
