Job summary

Executive Jet Management (EJM) is hiring a home-based Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream G280 under a Part 135 certificate. You’ll join a four-pilot team with maintenance support and a set schedule, delivering a safe, compliant, and exceptional owner and passenger experience.

Required: Part 135 experience and PIC capability; 3,500+ total hours, 1,500 MEL, 2,000 PIC, 500 PIC MEL, 300 instrument, 500 jet hours; G280 rating preferred. Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Prior Part 135 experience and ability to perform all essential functions.
• Home-based within 90 minutes of a major airport served by commercial airlines.
• Flight time minimums: 3,500 hours total time; 1,500 MEL; 2,000 PIC; 500 PIC MEL; 300 instrument; 500 jet.
• FAA G280 type rating strongly preferred (not required).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Hold final authority for safe, compliant operation.
• Verify crewing and trip assignments meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Complete flight planning, performance, weight-and-balance, and preflight tasks.
• Review maintenance status and oversee ground servicing.
• Lead briefings and follow SOPs.
• Serve as Security Coordinator as required.
• Conduct passenger briefings and deliver premium owner/passenger experience.
• Communicate effectively during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service and collaborate across teams.
• Maintain training, recency, and SMS compliance.
