Job summary

The Salvation Army in Salina, KS is seeking a part-time Music Program Coordinator to lead music and arts activities for both children and adults. you will plan weekly lessons, implement the curriculum, and help organize Bravo recitals and end-of-year performances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music preferred or extensive teaching experience.
• Minimum two years of music experience with children/adults; performance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead music and arts programs within the corps.
• Plan and implement weekly music lessons and curricula.
• Coordinate Bravo recitals and end-of-year Bravo concert.
• Encourage participants toward skill development and self-esteem.
• Organize performances and community activities.
• Support participation in summer camps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
