Job summary

Veritiv in Niles, IL is seeking a Cutter Operator to set up, program, operate, and maintain the cutter and related equipment to trim paper stock per customer specs and production schedules. This role ensures quality, meets deadlines, and adheres to safety requirements in a fast-paced printing environment.

You will load stock, verify dimensions, perform routine maintenance, and document quality records while collaborating with team members to maintain productivity and company standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 50–75 pounds and handle pallets using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and specifications to determine cutting requirements and sequence.
• Set up, program, and operate Cutter machine to meet customer specs and deadlines.
• Load and unload stock, align materials, and transport finished materials to next operation or shipping area.
• Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, lubrication, and troubleshoot issues.
