Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under physician supervision and to support daily practice operations. The role requires a valid LPN credential and CT/NY licensure as applicable, with 2 years of medical experience preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organization, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, and will be comfortable using Epic EMR and Microsoft Office tools. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and LPN Diploma required.

• Current licensure from the State of Connecticut and/or New York (when necessary).
• Excellent organizational, communication, customer service and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High School Diploma and LPN Diploma Required.

Experience

2 years of medical practice experience preferred.

LICENSURE

Current licensure from the State of Connecticut and/or New York (when necessary).

Special Skills

Ability to assist physicians in minor procedures (where applicable). Excellent, organizational, communication, customer service and teamwork skills required. Ability to multi-task is essential. EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required. CPR certification preferred. Bilingual preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged.
