Job summary

Farm Family, part of Clearbrook Group, seeks a Programmer Analyst II to join the Information Technology team in Albany, NY. You will contribute to high-quality service delivery, partner with colleagues, and support strategic priorities across the organization.

Required: a bachelor's in a related field and 1–2 years of experience with object-oriented development, Java, and Guidewire ClaimCenter. On-call rotation and strong technical documentation are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
One to two years of experience.
Strong skills in software design, development, modification, and deployment using OO concepts.
Supervisory/management experience is not applicable.

Responsibilities

Translates business requirements into system requirements and simple specifications.
Develops, maintains, and tests code and configurations for Guidewire ClaimCenter.
Maintains the relational database design supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter.
Performs unit and system testing with approved test plans.
Documents technical work and provides on-call production support.
