Job summary

Caliber Smart in New York/Atlanta is seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer focused on BillingCenter development and integration. You will work on Gosu and Java, build workflows, and develop integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, QA, and business analysts to deliver scalable insurance applications, while supporting upgrades and environment management in an on-site setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations using XML, APIs, messaging, and web services.
• Perform unit testing with GUnit/JUnit.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug, and resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews, merges, and release activities.
• Support Guidewire upgrades and environment management.

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter development and integration. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Gosu, Java, Guidewire Integration Framework, web services, XML, messaging, and batch processing, along with a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.

The candidate will work with Agile teams to design, develop, enhance, integrate, and support scalable Guidewire insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Guidewire certification is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant professional experience in Guidewire development, particularly BillingCenter, is required.
