Overview

Hiring: Guidewire Integration Developer – Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Guidewire integration development, GOSU/Java programming, middleware technologies, and insurance domain applications.

Guidewire Integration Developer

Responsibilities

• Experience in Guidewire Policy, Claims, Billing Integration Development
• Design and modify existing workflows required for Billing Integration
• Good knowledge in Web services, XML, Gx Model, Messaging, Batch implementation
• Designing, developing, modifying and deploying software including object oriented programming concepts with design standards and best practices
• Planning, designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging and maintaining GOSU language application code within Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center and/or Claim Center
• Working on Middleware platforms like WebSphere, ESB, MuleSoft, WebMethods or similar
• Working with various data structures and platforms from legacy flat files to complex relational models
• Resolving issues identified during testing of configuration requirements
• Organizing code merges and environment management tasks
• Performing minor and major Guidewire software upgrades
• Implementing integration modules that are reusable, ensuring loose coupling and easy scalability
• Developing GUnit/JUnit tests for testing business logic
• Designing and developing batch processes inside Guidewire centers as well as external batch processes that connect with Guidewire systems
• Designing and developing adapters, service APIs and plugin components based on business requirements
• Collaborating with development teams using Agile methodology, source control and release management to deliver user stories and software
• Leading a team of developers and coordinating with onshore/offshore teams in different timezones
• Architecting and presenting solution designs with various options and estimates
• Assisting in GOSU code reviews and sprint demos
• Utilizing Java and GOSU experience to build and maintain integrations for multiplatform applications
• Designing, developing and deploying complex integrations with Guidewire software and multitier applications and systems

Qualifications

• Experience in Guidewire Integration Development
• Knowledge of PC Insurance domain Policy, Claims and Billing applications as per product requirements
• Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java or GOSU programming
• Experience with J2EE application servers, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS
• Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center and/or Claim Center integration development experience
• Experience working with middleware platforms and integration patterns
• Experience in design, development and testing of software in an insurance domain context
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with onshore and offshore teams

Certifications

Guidewire Certifications in Policy Center, Billing Center and Claim Center, preferably in Integration area.
