Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to drive architecture, cloud modernization, and end-to-end delivery for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and GWCP. You will lead onsite-offshore teams, guide integrations and upgrades, and ensure high-quality solutions aligned with insurance domain needs.

The role requires deep Guidewire expertise, leadership capabilities, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Guidewire solutions including hands-on PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
• Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), cloud upgrades and modernization
• Expertise in Gosu, Java, SQL, Guidewire integrations, REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise integration patterns
• Proven experience supporting production systems, release management and cloud migration programs
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes and operations
• Experience leading technical teams in onsite-offshore delivery models
• Certifications in Guidewire Cloud, PolicyCenter and BillingCenter preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and support of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter solutions
• Drive GWCP initiatives including upgrades and modernization
• Provide technical leadership across production support and enhancements
• Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, messaging, and API patterns
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with requirements
• Perform architecture and code reviews and enforce best practices
• Lead onsite-offshore delivery teams and coordinate activities
• Support release planning, deployment, and production stability
• Mentor Guidewire developers and engineers
• Partner with business and IT leadership to drive modernization and cloud transformation
