  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy.
  • Successful criminal history/background check as required by law and District policy.

Responsibilities

  • Student Guidance, Registration & Records
  • Coordinate student registration and enrollment; review required documents and follow up on missing information.
  • Maintain student records, grades, transcripts, enrollment verifications, and graduation/credit information in accordance with privacy requirements and District procedures.
  • Assist students and families with scheduling, academic planning, online-course information, graduation requirements, and college/career resources; refer matters requiring licensed counseling or administrative action to the appropriate staff member.
  • Prepare reports and respond to authorized requests for student information and records.
  • Library Operations & Student Support
  • Manage circulation activities, including check-in/check-out, shelving, cataloging, inventory, overdue notices, and basic repair/processing of materials.
  • Assist students and staff in locating books, reference materials, databases, and other instructional resources.
  • Support reading programs, library schedules, displays, and teacher requests for classroom or thematic materials.
  • Maintain an orderly, safe, student-centered library and help protect equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • General
  • Provide administrative support, correspondence, scheduling, filing, and other school-office assistance as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality, follow District policy and chain of command, communicate concerns promptly, and represent the District professionally.
  • Lift/Carry: Up to 50 lbs. or 100 lbs. with assistance. Participate in required meetings, training, and professional development, and perform other duties as assigned.

Terms & Evaluation

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. Work schedule and employment terms are subject to District policy, applicable law, and administrative direction. Performance will be evaluated by the Building Principal and/or Superintendent in accordance with applicable federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy.
