Job summary

The Magnolia Houston, part of CoralTree Hospitality, is seeking a Housekeeping Room Inspector to uphold cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all rooms and spaces. You will inspect guest rooms, linen rooms, hallways and public areas, ensuring standards of sanitation, safety and efficiency are met.

Responsibilities include supervising inspections, training staff, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, managing keys, enforcing safety, and coordinating with Front Office and Engineering to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior housekeeping experience in rooms preferred.
• Must be able to work under pressure and follow instructions.
• Guest-facing communication skills required.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Bilingual abilities helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned sections (guest rooms, linen rooms, halls, public spaces) for cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain and uphold company policies; assist in training and development of staff.
• Report to Housekeeping Manager on performance and behavior of staff.
• Control keys securely and maintain room security for occupied/unoccupied rooms.
• Enforce safety regulations and provide a safe working environment.
• Communicate with Housekeeping Manager, Front Office, Engineering and guests.
• Follow procedures for reporting maintenance issues and handling lost and found items.
• Operate two-way radio communications per hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and assist with inventories.
• Support equipment maintenance and participate in professional development programs.
