Job summary

The Choctaw Nation is seeking a meticulous Housekeeping Associate in Durant, OK to maintain guestrooms and hotel premises. You will strip and restock rooms, clean lobby areas, and report maintenance needs as you support supervisors on duty.

Responsibilities include inspecting beds, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and assisting with furniture placement and supply stocking to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Evaluate situations and make decisions.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and handle fumes and airborne particles.

Responsibilities

• Strip and remove linen, terry, and trash from guest rooms.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from rooms and sweep/mop assigned areas.
• Clean guest lobby and vending areas; keep free of debris.
• Document and report maintenance needs via work orders.
• Check mattress pads, comforters, and pillows for damage and report fixes.
• Replace/move furniture and adjust beds as needed.
• Assist housekeeping with placing headboards, roll-away beds, microwaves.
• Restock amenities in each supply room daily or per schedule.
• Monitor floors for trash and soiled linens; report issues.
• Retrieve shipments and distribute supplies to storage rooms and assets.
