Job summary

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pleasant stay. You will make beds, dust, vacuum, restock linens and toiletries, and report issues to the Housekeeping Manager.

Applicants should be detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; a high school diploma is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and toiletries.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms including toilets, showers, mirrors, and floors.
• Restock towels, soaps, and tissues in guest rooms and public restrooms.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Follow hotel security protocols and ensure guest safety and privacy.
• Perform general cleaning in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and stairwells.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to the hotel's standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
