Job summary

Wake Forest University is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform general housekeeping duties, cleaning guestrooms and suites to the university's standards. This full-time, on-site role requires weekend availability, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions and schedules.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guestrooms and suites daily to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintains cleaning techniques per Conference Center standards.
• Loads and stocks carts with linen and towels.
• Cleans minimum 13 rooms daily including stay-overs and checkouts.
• Removes debris and trash from guestrooms, suites and corridors.
• Restocks amenities and reports any issues to supervisor.
• Opens, dusts, and cleans drapes and windows in rooms daily.
• Follows safety procedures and reports any hazards.
