Job summary

InTown Suites in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming guest spaces. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces to meet cleanliness standards and guest expectations.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, proper maintenance of accommodations, and adherence to safety guidelines. A flexible schedule with physical tasks is required to ensure consistent, high-quality service for our guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping/laundry procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean the minimum required rooms per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds and perform cleaning tasks

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to company SOPs.
• Remove trash from rooms and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards.
• Clean bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas including appliances and surfaces.
• Vacuum and wash floors; maintain furnishings.
• Maintain exterior of rooms and entrances for curb appeal.
• Notify supervisor of room readiness and guest concerns.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and prep carts for next shift.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely and per SOPs.
• Report safety or security violations to supervisor.
